Privacy Policy

• Account information — name, username, email, profile photo, bio, dance discipline and sizes you choose to share.
• Listing content — photos, descriptions, measurements and prices you publish.
• Transaction information — orders, shipping addresses, tracking numbers, messages, offers, reviews and dispute records.
• Technical information — device, browser and log data used to keep the service secure.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered directly on Stripe's hosted checkout and never touch ENCORE's servers. Seller bank account and identity verification details are collected and stored by Stripe as part of Stripe Connect onboarding. ENCORE only receives a payout status and non-sensitive identifiers — we cannot see your bank details, and neither can other members.

• To operate the marketplace: listings, search, messaging, checkout and payouts.
• To ship orders — a buyer's address is shared with the seller only for fulfillment.
• To resolve disputes and enforce our terms.
• To send transactional notifications about your orders and messages.
• To detect fraud and keep the community safe.

Your username, profile photo, bio, listings, closet stats and reviews are public. Your email address, shipping address and payment details are not public. Sellers see a buyer's shipping address only after a purchase is completed.

We share limited data with providers who help run ENCORE: Stripe (payments, payouts, refunds), our hosting and database provider, and shipping carriers for tracking. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and afterwards as needed for tax, accounting, dispute and legal obligations. Stripe retains payment records under its own schedule.

• Edit or delete your profile details and listings at any time.
• Request a copy of your data or account deletion by emailing us.
• Adjust notification preferences in your account settings.

ENCORE is not intended for children under 13. Dancers under 18 should use ENCORE through a parent or guardian's account.

Data is encrypted in transit, access to the database is restricted by row-level security, and sensitive keys are stored server-side only. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
